Not so social anymore

Yesterday, I deleted my M*ta accounts, and that deletion will be permanent in 30 days. I know many people who are not on social media, and they seem to get through every day perfectly fine. I'm glad I finally did it; people can still reach me: I've not gone incommunicado or anything. Although some days that's tempting too. Mostly this post is to remind myself of the date I finally quit FB after threatening to for several years.

I feel relieved.

Februllage 2025, Day 1

Having a goal makes me work harder, and I enjoy Februllage, a month devoted to collage. Here's the first one for 2025. I also want to get back into blogging. The first off-the-cuff collage in Februllage always takes me longer than I planned, but I am retired and it's super cold outside so I decided to lean into it. I'm avoiding the official Februllage prompts; instead, I'm trying to use up pieces I already had cut out. I highly recommend collage to anyone who wants to try art or stretch their creativity muscles.
